The Two W's (Who and Why)

Hey there! Okay so, lets start this project by doing the most natural human thing possible, talk about ourselves. I decide that by answering this two questions you will be able to understand me quite a bit and therefore able to enjoy the content I publish better. By the way, if you saw the description of this blog you know by now that this is all about food and travelling basically.

So, who the hell am I?

I'm a 24 year old from Portugal who currently lives in London, United Kingdom. I've been working in the touristic sector since my first job, although, my university experience (History) barely have something to do with tourism. Well, at least made me like reading and writing, which is helpful in this case.
Coming from a middle class family who had completely no interest at all in travelling, I promised myself that I would travel the entire world the moment I could do it alone. And that moment arrived on my 18th birthday. After a small gathering with my close ones, me and my friends packed our bags, we got a few hours of sleep and at 6 AM we were in the air on our way to London. Needless to say that eventually, 4 years later to be more precise, I moved to the city who first welcomed me and commenced my story throughout the world.
From that day on, I've been able to travel to 24 Countries, more than 100 cities and experience countless adventure that I will forever keep.
It was due to my travelling experience that my second passion was born, culinary. Don't get me wrong, Portuguese cuisine is incredible. But the more I travel and tried new and different food the more I fell in love with it. I loved this new dishes so much that every time I would be back from a holiday I would rush to the kitchen to try doing it myself. And since then my dream job is to be a chef and build my own restaurant. That's cool, right?

Alright, second question, why am I doing this?

This one has a simpler answer. I purely just want to share my experiences. I love that nostalgic feeling that always comes when me and my friends gather around a table, drink a few beers, and share our past adventures. Considering that it's a bit harder to do that now since I moved to a different country, I thought "why not just share it with the entire world?". And that's exactly what I pretend to do. Anyway, what I really want to say is, I hope you enjoy reading my adventures as much I enjoyed living and writing about them.

I will see you next time. Ciao Ciao!!!
